SECURITY – Cottage Watch Program:

  • Our cottage watch services are available as often or as little as you like.  Pricing is subject to frequency of visits and the location/accessibility of your property.  We offer discounts for same lake properties or cottage associations. Property check-ups are available December through March.
  • Cottage Works provides a detailed, efficient, dedicated and professional operation. Our complete security, record-keeping and reliability are second to none. We can email a completed checklist after each visit with digital photos.
  • Conduct regular cottage checks. Cottage Works provides the cottage, condo or boat owner the peace of mind while they are away from their investment. Your property is being checked for breaking and entering, vandalism, electrical, water, and heating systems and possible storm damage.
  • Cottage Works provides a 24/7 local contact for your alarm system/company
  • We will be a designated key holder to allow entry for authorized persons
  • Immediate reporting service available to alleviate distress. Immediate cell phone report and/or digital photos emailed to keep you informed of the condition of your property or investment.
  • On each visit we can check & empty mousetraps, re-bait, and check for signs of other animal infestation.



WINTERIZING/ENERGIZING:


  • ​Fall Winterization and Spring Energizing - We can winterize your cottage in the fall and energize in the spring.  "Energizing" means that we turn on everything that runs on a daily basis, while occupied. electric, heat, A/C, hot water, gas appliances, pilot lights, etc.  Our goal is to have it appear as if it was never shut down at all, and you can just move back in.

  • Applying 2” of Closed Cell Foam produces an air barrier as well as a vapor barrier.
  • We can completely fill in stud cavities and shave flat or apply just enough to reach your desired R-value.
  • We insulate gaps around your windows & doors & will trim our foam applications so that your drywall subs can start the day we leave.
  • Foam Works will protect all windows, doors and fixtures already set in place with plastic to avoid any overspray.

  • HERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ASKING FOR A QUOTE:  There is a $1500.00 min charge for any job. We cannot spray walls without removing drywall.  Your crawl space needs to be at least 2 blocks tall to work in it.  An attic needs to be big enough to get into or we must remove drywall.
